Maychruk Real Estate —
30 years in Oak Park,
finally built for AI search.

Laura Maychruk has been selling historic Oak Park homes since 1993. Crain's Notable Broker 2022. Owner of Buzz Café in the Oak Park Arts District. Specialist in Frank Lloyd Wright-era Victorians and Craftsman restoration. Her old website — warm brown and teal, built in 2018 — was invisible to every AI engine we tested. We rebuilt it.

The work

What we actually built.

Maychruk's old site was not broken. It was thoughtful, crafted, and reflected Laura's 30 years of Oak Park community involvement. But it was built for a web that's changing fast — and specifically, for a web where Google search was the only way buyers found brokers. That's not the web of 2026.

We rebuilt the site in 47 minutes of focused work using our master template. The footprint:

  • 01
    Brand customization
Laura's name, title, license, phone, email, address, social links, testimonials, and service area — populated via a single site.config.js file.
  • 02
    Five neighborhood guides
Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Berwyn, and Austin (Chicago). Each with market stats, school ratings, walkability, transit, dining, and a hand-pasted FAQPage schema targeting real buyer queries.
  • 03
    72 JSON-LD blocks across 16 HTML files
RealEstateAgent, LocalBusiness, WebSite, BreadcrumbList, WebPage with speakable, and — on neighborhood and buy/sell pages — FAQPage and Place. All validated with zero errors.
  • 04
    Site-root AI-visibility files
    llms.txt (plain-markdown site index), robots.txt (bot-permissive with 13 AI crawlers allow-listed), sitemap.xml (12 URLs with proper priority hints).
  • 05
    Futuristic dark aesthetic
Near-black background, electric violet + cyan accents, Space Grotesk + Inter + JetBrains Mono typography, glass cards with backdrop-blur, 80px grid backdrop, radial glow blobs, subtle scanline hover on listing cards, animated gradient headline on the home page. Intentionally different from our operator site aesthetic — this one is built for her buyers.
Outcome

What happens next.

The site launched in Q2 2026. AI-citation tracking is in progress — we're monitoring ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview monthly for queries like "best historic home broker in Oak Park" and "Oak Park real estate market trends" to see when Laura's site gets quoted as a source instead of Zillow.

Real outcome metrics (new leads, sale velocity, AI-citation rate) will be added to this page after 30, 60, and 90 days live. We will not hide results if they don't land. If something doesn't work, we'll update this page and explain what we tried next.
